Trodat's range of eco-friendly stamps continues to expand.
The Austrian Ecolabel is an internationally recognized environmental seal of quality and is awarded to particularly environmentally friendly products. Certification takes place after rigorous testing of the entire life cycle of a product, from the extraction of the raw materials to disposal of the final product, and confirms the highest ecological, health and quality standards.
In 2018, we expanded the pool of our environmental protection measures by applying to the Austrian Ecolabel and were able to obtain the label for 93 Trodat products in 2021, with new products being added all the time.
Since the establishment of the Austrian Ecolabel in 1990, environment-friendly products and services have conquered the market. The Ecolabel covers a wide range of topics: from traditional products and tourism to educational institutions and kindergartens.
The Ecolabel has played a major role in shaping this change: the Ecolabel guidelines have established ecological standards for 80 product groups, shaping product development and ensuring transparent and credible consumer information.
The Austrian Ecolabel sets comprehensive requirements for:
■ Quality, usability, durability
■ Health and safety for humans
■ Environment (ecological criteria)
More than 1100 licensees of the Austrian Ecolabel show the dynamic development and high acceptance of the Austrian Ecolabel.
